Waldschanke Rheinsberg in Rheinsberg

I called and ordered seats for myself and my family. The employee was very nice and made extra reservations because I don't live in the corner. The unique thing about the ywalfscjänke is that it is located in the Wsld and when you go with children it never gets boring because they can be inside and outside all the time. It is idyllically situated in the forest. The food was delicious and everything is freshly prepared. The clean toilets are also worth mentioning. In the summer the restaurant is definitely awesome :) I gave a tip of 5 euros :) if it were mine, I would go more often.

Delicious Bavarian Tatsch. Recommended for those who want something different than just meat with boiled potatoes and, if at all, with a little sauce.

Unfortunately we were not satisfied this time, neither were our guests, we expected the usual good quality and were disappointed. Our guests, seasoned Bavarians, were more than disappointed with the culinary art of Bavarian dishes. The parking lot was also not lit. The tone was subterranean, so you don't treat guests like that.

The food was delicious and the service was friendly. And the price is justified. It is worth recommending. Still gets through the winter well.

Is super nice in the middle of the forest. Food was OK, I liked it. Food came pretty quickly.

The Waldschänke is about 1.5 km outside of Rheinsberg in the direction of Menz behind a curve. We were there for dinner and very satisfied. Good food and nice service. We recommend!!!

We were on a bike tour from Fürstenberg to Rheinsberg today and needed a break. Then we saw the sign for the Waldschänke. Because the building looked very much like VEB Gaststätten, we wanted to pedal the three kilometers to Rheinsberg, but then turned around, locked our bikes and sat down in the beer garden. And then the big surprise: Weißwurscht with pretzels (the only point of criticism: the parsley leaf was missing in the water), Bavarian sausage salad and Augustiner, which the people of Munich consider to be the best beer in their city. Sensational. As someone who goes to Munich at least once a month, I felt like I was in the Augustiner there. - We'll stop by again this vacation.

We like to come here. Food and service are great. It's quiet and very idyllic. What I recommend to everyone is the super delicious Kaiserschmarrn. Keep it up.

Real insider tip. Nice forest location. Hardly to no annoying insects. Family-friendly and a good stop for a bike tour (with e-bike charging station).

Not only for cyclists or walkers: The Waldschänke is a cozy restaurant with a beautiful terrace and a wonderful view of nature. And there was a playground for children, which I thought was great. Hospitality is very important here. Super delicious fresh cuisine, rich varied menu, very friendly and courteous service. A visit to the Waldschänke is worth it ??

Nice place with very good food. Super service and absolutely flexible to respond to special requests from our grandchildren.

We celebrated my nephew's first birthday in the Waldschänke. It was a great afternoon. The children were able to play extensively on the playground and it didn't bother anyone if they were a bit louder there. The placement of the playground is simply optimal. The hosts were super nice and delighted us. The kitchen conjured up great bread boards. There was really something for every taste. I would like to particularly praise the bread again :-) We all felt very comfortable. That was definitely not our last celebration with you.

Nicely located, offers itself for breaks on bike tours, prices felt to us to be higher than expected at this point. Didn't eat anything because we just wanted a small snack and couldn't find anything on the menu that appealed to us. Otherwise the menu was very sophisticated and tasty. On another occasion, we definitely like to try how it tastes.

Bavarian flair in the east. The import of food and drinks is a real asset to the rather poor selection of localities in the area. Careful, don't drive past it! In the middle of the forest, which is why the light conditions in the car obscure the view, you can quickly overlook the small sign.

A Bavarian economy in the middle of Prussia? Why not! The dishes are sumptuous and freshly prepared, the staff are always friendly and the location directly in the pine forest is more than cozy. For children there is a small but nice playground with a slide, swings and sandpit. In addition to the tapped Augustiner, there is also bottled water and lemonades for travelers passing through. Nice excursion place if you are not averse to the southern German food, but otherwise always worth a detour!

We are in Rheinsberg and not in Bavaria ... and friendly is different ... however my experiences from October 2019 are. As I have just read, only positive feedback is desired, otherwise a deletion is requested, hackts ... That will always happen, the feelings of the people are different, so you should be able to deal with or just learn as an innkeeper. Who should recommend such a restaurant ... I can't.

By chance discovered on the bike tour and win real highlight found. Very nice in the forest. Very friendly service, hearty menu with moderate prices. And quality keeps what the card promises. Very nice time spent here and will gladly come again.

The Waldschänke yesterday was a real find for us. The Kaiserschmarren was great and the ice cream for dessert delicious. One also thinks about the small details here. So the ice was z. B. from an ice cream factory and the coffee from a Berlin private roasting. But such details make the difference. The ambience with the forest around it is really fantastic. Nevertheless, the prices are rather moderate, that is family friendly. And since the service was also friendly, this can only mean the full score. Anyway, we like to come back.
